“The Ascension of Corey Lakins” offers an intimate look at the challenges, triumphs and pivotal moments that shaped Lakins faith.

The documentary chronicles Lakins life after the birth of her son, Jeremy, in 1987 when during birth Jeremy suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, causing long term care and challenges.

Lakins stepped out in faith to establish her own agency called AIMED Human Services, PA licensed provider of Home and Community Based Services for Individuals with Intellectual Development and Disabilities. AIMED operates in Pittsburgh and York PA providing 24-hour residential care, clinical services, respite and community habilitation.

Lakins plans to launch a GLOW Your Influence podcast dedicated to sharing the stories of women who have transformed their pain into success.
